Bamford London and Peanuts launch their second collaboration – the “Beagle Scout” GMT Limited Edition for Hodinkee.
A recurring theme in the Peanuts comic strip and animated content are The Beagle Scouts, which are led by Snoopy and feature Woodstock and their bird friends. The ‘Beagle Scout’ GMT Limited Edition brings this adventure-loving group to life, on the wrist, in a playful nod to the start of the camping season in the great outdoors.
The Bamford × Peanuts ‘Beagle Scout’ GMT Limited Edition for Hodinkee has the classic form of the Bamford London GMT – a 40mm × 11.7mm stainless-steel case. The dial’s hunter green background highlights Snoopy’s ‘Beagle Scout’ scout uniform, while the bidirectional internal rotating bezel has a 24-hour display split into two halves representing day/night. Snoopy stands alert in the dial’s centre, with his outstretched paws indicating the local time. Snoopy’s avian sidekick, Woodstock, circles the dial in a continuous 24-hour flight, operating as the watch’s GMT hand.
Each of the 250 numbered pieces are delivered inside Snoopy’s ‘doghouse’ which is covered in green fabric and features Hodinkee, Bamford London, and Peanuts logos on its sides. It is available for $1,850.00, exclusively from the Hodinkee Shop.
