To celebrate its 75th anniversary, French watchmaker HERBELIN is launching a new collection devised and designed exclusively for women.
Named Galet – the French for pebble – in reference to its source of inspiration, this rounded model is powered by a self-winding movement. Like a pebble that has been rounded and smoothed by the waves or a mountain stream, the polished steel case presents a subtly curved silhouette with a diameter of 33.55 mm.
Supported by a domed sapphire crystal on either side, this smoothness is extended to the dial in genuine white mother-of-pearl. It shimmers in the light, opting for discreet elegance. At its centre, a raised silver circle highlights the roundness of the ensemble. Delicately positioned around the rim, zirconium hour-markers, subtly interspersed with polished applied Roman numerals, enliven the blued steel hour and minute hands, to the rhythm of a black lacquered seconds hand. The fluted crown, decorated with a blue onyx, also embraces the luxury of detail, as does the date aperture at 6 o’clock.
This elegant women’s timepiece is brought to life by a Swiss-made self-winding mechanical movement. A guarantee of accuracy and proven reliability, it has a 38-hour power reserve. A delight for discerning connoisseurs of fine mechanisms.
