The HERBELIN Newport Héritage Chronograph builds on the success of the limited edition self-winding chronograph timepiece created for their 35th anniversary.
Presenting a steel case with a ‘Panda’ dial encircled with a black ceramic bezel, the first model to be unveiled is calibrated for urban adventures. The premise was to respect the aesthetic essence of the original 1988 timepiece.
The result of ingenious thinking and refined to the extreme, the Newport Héritage Chronograph Bi-Compax enters the race with a stainless steel case measuring 42 mm in diameter and 14 mm thick. Subtly alternating polished and brushed surfaces, it is highlighted by a polished black ceramic bezel.
With its urban elegance, the Newport Héritage Chronograph Bi-Compax stands out from the crowd with its ‘Panda’ dial, a first for the Newport collection. Interpreted here with a silvered sunray brushed case back and blued black sub-counters, the dial emphasises the bevelled hour markers adorned with luminescent material, underscored by an ultra-precise minute track on the encircling flange.
French-made – designed, engineered, assembled, adjusted, and inspected at the HERBELIN workshops in the Jura mountains of the Franche-Comté region – the Newport Héritage Chronograph Bi-Compax presents a Swiss-made self-winding mechanical movement, a true mark of quality and precision. Visible through a transparent case back, it boasts a HERBELIN engraved oscillating weight with a power reserve of 62 hours.
