Bvlgari watchmaking has established itself as a master of L’Estetica della Meccanica, fusing the soul of Italian design with the savoir faire of Swiss watchmaking.
OCTO FINISSIMO PERPETUAL CALENDAR
The Bvlgari Octo Finissimo has made its mark on the Haute Horlogerie landscape in a very short space of time. After exploring ultra-miniaturisation in the fields of the Grands Complications, suchas the minute repeater, chronograph and tourbillon, Bvlgari presents Octo Finissimo Perpetual Calendar, the slimmest in the world. This new record-breaker is available in two variations for the first time: the “signature” sandblasted titanium and a platinum version with blue dial.
Mechanical automatic Manufacture movement, Calibre BVL 305 measuring just 2.75mm thick, indication of hours, minutes, retrograde date, day, month and retrograde leap year; 60-hour power reserve.
Case and dial
Sandblasted titanium case, 40mm in diameter, 5.80mm thick, sandblasted titanium crown with ceramic insert, transparent caseback; water-resistant to 30m. Sandblasted titanium dial, 0.3 mm thick.
Sandblasted titanium bracelet with folding clasp.
OCTO FINISSIMO TADAO ANDO
How can one construct and interpret time in the most refined way possible? Bvlgari and the Japanese architect Tadao Ando have attempted to provide an answer to this equation by creating the 160-piece Octo Finissimo Tadao Ando limited series. The Tadao Ando limited edition takes a minimalist approach to the theme of time on the deep blue lacquered dial. The time spiral is born and uncoils from the base of the seconds hand, while the gold crescent moon is positioned at 5 o’clock. In two essential graphic elements, Tadao Ando expresses his vision of time on a watch made from black ceramic and featuring a transparent caseback bearing the architect’s signature.
Mechanical automatic Manufacture ultra-thin Calibre BVL 138 with micro-rotor, hours, minutes and small seconds.
Case and dial
Black sandblasted ceramic case, bezel and crown, 40mm diameter, transparent caseback with laser-engraved Tadao Ando signature; blue lacquered dial with special pattern and yellow gold moon.
