Tusenö Watches Inspired By The West Coast Of Sweden

Back in 2015, Tusenö Watches became Sweden’s most funded watch in crowdfunding history – they have come a long way since then.

Co-founders, Alexander Bendz and Johan Holsner, had a clear idea for their watches from the start as they knew where to find inspiration, the place where they both grew up – the Swedish west coast. It is a beautiful place filled with important memories for them. The love and passion for watches is something they’ve carried with them for a long time and so was the dream of creating their own watch brand.

One of their guiding principals for Tusenö was to design watches that will never go out of style, taking a long-term view to keep evolving the brand.

The watches are of high-quality, with a unique design language, great specifications at a fair price and with the goal of always delivering above expectation, reflecting the way they work. In a short period of time Tusenö has become a global brand with customers in over 70 countries and with production in Asia, Switzerland and Sweden. The majority of watches are being produced in small numbers in Switzerland with all new watches powered by mechanical movements.

Tusenö advocates sustainability on several levels and have solid environmental practices where nature and the Swedish west coast in particular plays a major role in everything they do. They strive to always do their very best to minimise unnecessary transport, to produce as much as possible from recyclable material and to work with certified partners that have the same ‘thinking’ as they do, which is an admirable positioning.

From 2020, the Tusenö logo was redesigned and adjusted with a fresh modern font, and to accompany the logo a symbol was created – named ‘The Guiding Light’ (above), which should ensure the brand continues to shine for many years ahead.
